internship

At KUBO, you can gain an insight into the field of artistic education in the studio and the exhibitions in the Galerie Mitte. Our house offers a varied program with regular art courses, weekend workshops, vacation programs, projects and exhibitions. We are a small team and work in a very informal environment. We are looking for people who want to get involved, enjoy art and aesthetic education, have good communication skills, are independent and have the capacity to work afternoons/evenings and weekends. You can get to know different activities and set individual priorities depending on your time capacities and personal interests.

 

Possible areas of activity:

  • Art courses (support for weekly courses, vacation programs and workshops for children and young people in collaboration with our artists, as well as participation in art courses and workshops for adults)
  • Projects (participation in the planning and realization of art projects)
  • Exhibitions (insights into the planning and realization of exhibitions as well as the accompanying program, cooperation in press and public relations work and at events)
  • Organization (collaboration in day-to-day business, press and public relations, sponsoring, purchases, studio regulations, etc.)
  • Independent artistic work

 

Internships can currently only be completed as part of a mandatory internship. For those interested who are not in educational training, we offer the opportunity to volunteer, for example in our vacation programs, art workshops and regular art courses or projects with children and young people. We even offer internships for school students. Our work is very project-based and it is important to us that school students can gain an insight into our work. School internships are therefore only possible if they include a vacation week (Easter/summer/autumn art vacation).

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible for us to remunerate internships.
